We've partnered with a family-run manufacturer in Bali, Indonesia who has their own team of independent garment makers, seamstresses, and pattern makers who work right from their own homes.
Materials
Whenever possible, we utilize natural fibers and recycled nylon in the production of our collections. We’re currently exploring ways to use natural plant dyes and incorporating fully recycled fabrics in all our designs.
Packaging
Our biodegradable inner mailer is made from cassava plants that are fully biodegradable. As a next step, we are working on developing a plastic-free solution to our outer Fedex Pak, which is currently made with 13% recycled materials.
Trims
We are currently looking for alternatives to virgin polyester webbing straps and plastic buckles. Our goal is to soon incorporate recycled plastic buckles and straps so we can create pieces that are eco-friendly with the added benefit of being distinct and one-of-a-kind.
ROAD TO CIRCULARITY
In a circular economy, materials are maintained, regenerated, and recycled, which best aligns with our value in opposing biodiversity loss, pollution, and overconsumption. Over the next 5 years, we will be working on a series of milestones to repair, recycle or upcycle our garments at the end of their life. We look forward to sharing our progress with you along the way.
